This policy describes how Foedera Corporation ("Foedera," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use foedera.com.
Account information: name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional, used only for booking text notifications).
Listing information: equipment name, category, description, photos, location, and pricing, if you list equipment as an Owner.
Booking information: rental dates, pickup/delivery choice, and amounts paid, if you book equipment as a Renter.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Foedera does not receive or store your full card number.
Location information: if you use the "use my location" feature, we request your device's location to help you set or find equipment nearby. This is only used when you actively choose to share it.
We share information with the service providers that help us run Foedera, including:
We also share the information necessary to complete a booking between the relevant Owner and Renter (e.g., a Renter's name is shared with the Owner they're booking with). We do not sell your personal information.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and processing payments through Stripe rather than handling card data ourselves. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
You can update your account information, including your phone number, from your dashboard at any time. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us at the email below.
Foedera is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here with a new effective date.
